You contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Sourcing Analyst, Design and Construction like you to be a part of our team.

As a Sourcing Analyst, Design and Construction, you will be responsible for supporting the Facility Infrastructure Team in all financial aspects.  You will provide financial analyses, reporting and dashboards related to purchasing agreements and projects.  This includes analyzing proposals, market share data, and fully loaded supply/equipment cost. You will work both independently and collaboratively to provide various savings and tracking analyses.  The position's key area of focus will be analyzing the sourcing initiatives that are primarily categories related to capital construction spend, construction complexity, project risk and sensitivity.  This position may also be responsible for leading and overseeing ad-hoc projects and other program involvement.

In this role you will be responsible for the below activities:

  • Ongoing financial assistance as it relates to the management of agreements
  • Support Business Development with data extract and summary report outs.
  • Support manager and internal teams in both program and custom financial analyses
  • Accurate and timely financial analysis of vendor pricing proposals
  • Effective communication of analysis results to contract management and internal teams
  • Preparation of Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents
  • Summarizing data in various reports and dashboards
  • Monthly and Quarterly reporting of savings and tracking measures
  • Understanding of various methodologies for performing financial analysis
  • Effective communication to program team lead and contract management
  • Composing financial memos summarizing project valuations
  • Data analysis of vendor and/or customer purchase histories
  • Identifying and resolving data issues – cleaning and normalizing large data sets
  • Ad Hoc requests from management

Qualifications

What you need to be considered for the Sourcing Analyst, Design and Construction role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, business or accounting preferred
  • 2+ years' experience in financial, business or data analysis
  • Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to create or interpret potentially complex financial models
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organization skills required
  • Financial analysis and heavy attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is required with Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI experience preferred
  • This is an in-office position located in the HCA Coporate office.  Opportunity to work remotely 1-day per week.
