Brookdale Hospice is committed to investing in the latest technology enabling nurses to work more efficiently. Are you passionate about delivering patient-centered care? Submit your application for a Hospice Registered Nurse position and spend more time at the bedside with the patient.  This position with cover the South Houston area including: Pearland, Webster, Pasadena, Sugarland, Clearlake and the Hobby Airport area.  $10,000 Sign on bonus for the full time RN – paid within 30 days. Current HCA employees are not eligible.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with physician orders, recognizing standards of practice and establishing company policies and procedures.Responsible for following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes.

 What you will do in this role:

  • Follows the plan of care, provides treatments, and works collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes
  • Provides direct patient care as defined in State Nurse Practice Act, including specialized duties related to end of life care
  • Participates in coordination of hospice services, appropriately reporting the identified needs to the interdisciplinary group, including Hospice Aide, Director of Clinical Services –Hospice, and Chaplain
  • Provides appropriate pain/symptom management

What qualifications you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
  • Current State RN License
  • Reliable transportation and proof of valid automobile liability insurance
  • Must have valid driver’s license
