Job Summary and Qualifications

The general responsibilities of the Associate Data Analyst are to collect, maintain, manage, integrate, analyze, and interpret disbursement data received from both internal and external data sources in connection with the Corporate Disbursement Department’s Accounts Payable, Concur, and various American Express Card Program responsibilities.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Database Ownership:

  • Assist the Data Analyst in development, management, enrichment and control of the Corporate Disbursements area’s database environment (Concur, American Express, Accounts Payable (HOST & Lawson), HR, internal quality assurance data, general ledger, Cash Disbursement Authorization, etc.)
  • Responsibility for maintenance, design, and security of data and related reporting for the databases essential to the Corporate Disbursements operations.
  • Working with different business teams and subject matter experts under the direction of the Data Analyst to develop broad working knowledge and required user expertise relative to the various data sources and elements utilized by the department.
  • Coordination with other internal technical resources to achieve maximum efficiency of data capture, retention, and retrieval.
  • Ongoing personal development of technical knowledge through educational workshops/courses, reviewing publications, and development of personal networking contacts with the department’s customers.


  • Design, execution, and maintenance of both standard and ad hoc reporting from the Corporate Disbursement Operations data for its customers.

  • Research and resolution of customer inquiries utilizing various Corporate Disbursements data.


  • Assistance with internal and external audit requests.
  • Monitoring, training, and provision of guidance to department staff and other data users.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Access and Excel.
