About this Position:

 

The Clinical Research Data Coordinator reviews patient research records and completes entry of required data elements into the sponsor designated eDC system, within contractually defined time frames for oncology clinical trials. This position also responds to data queries and assures database is complete to meet sponsor data milestones.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain familiarity with protocol required data elements
  • Extract required data elements from patient source record and enter into eDC system
  • Alert Research Coordinator of missing data elements to accomplish timely completion
  • Facilitate delivery of CT/MRI scan data via disc or upload to sponsor system
  • Provide status updates, alerting leadership of roadblocks impacting productivity
  • Maintain data entry tracking tool to facilitate metrics reporting
  • Respond to data queries from sponsor data managers
  • Maintain patient research records for use during data verification
  • Coordinate the scheduling of monitor visits per organizational monitoring guidelines
  • Assist with transport of patient records between clinic locations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

  • Associates Degree in healthcare related field with Bachelor degree preferred
  • Clinical Research data entry experience preferred
  • Oncology/Hematology experience preferred
  • Work experience may be substituted for educational requirement
  • One year experience preferred, but not required
  • Analytical and detail oriented
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • Computer proficiency and proficiency in PC applications as required
  • Proficiency in organizational, project and time management skills
  • Effectively interface with all types of people
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations and applicable law
