The Office Coordinator will act as an information and guidance resource in designated areas throughout the department to enhance the total patient and guest experience.
What you will do in this role:
You will act as a liaison between the patient and responsible party, the hospital and any third party payers
You will perform the necessary functions to ensure appropriate orders are received, accounts are pre-authorized and all required documentation is received
You will answer telephones in a professional and courteous manner directing inquiries to the appropriate location
You will coordinate patient information for all internal physicians and referrals
