A little over 20 years ago, Medical City Green Oaks Hospital has over 106 beds and 35 physicians on staff. We are committed to the mission of providing a full continuum of exceptional psychiatric services for residents in our North Texas community. We are happy to announce that in early 2018 we developed a Clinical Diagnostic service for the sole purpose of providing immediate access to psychiatric care for our community. At Medical City Green Oaks, you can walk in day or night, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and be seen in-person, by a specially trained psychiatrist, along with psychiatric nurses and therapists.

The Lead Cook prepares food for all food service operation and assists in the sanitation of Dietary.

  • Orders food and maintains inventory level for patient and staff meals
  • Prepares and portions food according to menu
  • Monitors quality and temperature of food
  • Maintains clean and orderly workstation
  • Maintains documentation as requested or required
  • Stores food and equipment according to guidelines
  • Prepares special diets accurately
  • Assures quality and timelines of food service
  • Assures patient needs for nourishment are met
  • Documents temperatures, patient meals and meal tickets
  • Adheres to hospital policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the Code of Conduct
  • Conduct reflects the Company’s values and a commitment to the Code of Conduct
  • Performs other duties as requested or required

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and write and follow verbal and written instructions. Must have 1 year of institutional cooking experience.
