We are seeking an Associate Application Engineer for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications

Entry level applications engineer responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of the UKG Kronos iSeries, Workforce Central and Workforce Dimensions platforms. Apply advanced technology and tools in the development of solutions for complex problems for application systems.  Participate in design of information technology to meet ITG strategy and business requirements. Participate in software evaluation and build/ buy decisions. Coordinate requirements for ITG strategy with vendor-developed products.


System Support

  • Research and resolve Kronos system issues logged via Service Central
  • Resolve eSAF requests as submitted to the Kronos Development queue
  • Determine root cause for problems and implement improvements to prevent repeated occurrences.
  • Support Labor Management project rollout schedules.
  • Consistently deliver according to commitments and project plan dates.
  • Collaborate with business analysts on project requirements.

Hardware/Time clocks

  • Support 250,000 end users nationwide as second level support on software and hardware (Kronos time clocks) as necessary
  • Complete clock replace for old Kronos clocks with the newer model 9100 series clock.  Work with the facility to install the clock and push the configuration to the clock.  Including testing to ensure the clock accepts punches.
  • Update the ‘firmware’ for existing Kronos 4500/9100 series clocks.  Work with the facilities to push the firmware to the clocks.
  • Complete clock replacement and firmware updates based on a published schedule.
  • Participate in testing for SaaS releases (Dimensions) and Service Packs (iSeries/WFC)

What qualifications you will need:


College Graduate Preferred

Other as Noted:  Equivalent Kronos iSeries experience may be substituted.


Relevant Work Experience

Less than 1 year

Other preferred/required experience:

Prefer experience with Kronos iSeries or Work Force


Office work environment

This position will completing work based on a set schedule and rollout plan.
