We are seeking a Manager of Patient Access for St. David's North Austin Medical Center which is a 378 sized bed facility located in Austin Texas to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high-quality, efficient care. As the Manager of Patient Access, you will be responsible for assisting the Director in daily operations of all Patient Access functions and serves as the liaison between the Shared Service Center (SSC) and the facility.

 

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is a 378-bed multi-specialty, acute care HCA Healthcare facility located in Austin, Texas. The facility is a full-service hospital that provides leading-edge comprehensive medical care. North Austin Medical specializes in many innovative healthcare services, such as cardiovascular careneuroscience & spine careemergency & urgent care, and cancer care.

What you will do in this role:

  • Perform patient registration function when needed to ensure wait times are kept to a minimum
  • Model AIDET guidelines in all interactions with the patient and ensure staff is adhering to the patient experience expectations.
  • Ensure QA on registrations for all areas of Registration
  • Provide continuous training for and communicates changes to existing employees
  • Prepare payroll and completes monthly work schedules as needed to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Follow-up on patient complaints promptly

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required
  • Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement 
  • Minimum 3 years healthcare management experience
