Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is a 133-bed facility that opened June 7, 2010. SRMC provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, women’s services, orthopedic, cardiac care and behavioral health services. Our surgical services include robotic-assisted technology, allowing our surgeons to operate with the tiniest incisions and with greater vision, precision and control.

Utilize team work to complete daily tasks.
Screen admissions for discharge needs within one-two (1-2) business days.
Track and monitor avoidable (alternative care) days, and provide your supervisor with this information daily.
Performs continuous assessments and evaluations, to ensure patient is progressing towards desired outcomes.
Utilizes patient choice letters as appropriate.
Provides “Important Message from Medicare About your Rights” letter within appropriate timelines.
Completes UAI paperwork as necessary.
Assists with the process of adoption when the need arises.
Collaborates with RN Case Manager to coordinate smooth and effective patient transfers and transitions.

Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision meeting firm deadlines.
Assertive and persuasive communication skills, action oriented.
Minimum of 5 years of social work/case management experience required.
Bachelor of Science in Social Work required
Master of Social Work required.
Current state licensure as LCSW preferred.
Certified Case Manager preferred.
Supervision Hours available with employment duration committment.
