RN Seasonal PCU PRN Days 7a-7p - Float Pool (PCU, M/S)
Program runs from August 1, 2021 to March 26, 2022
$62/hr and $4,000 Completion Bonus
As a Float Pool RN you will use your acute care experience to deliver professional nursing care to a diverse patient population within our PCU, and Medical Surgical units. Under the supervision of the director/manager or designee, the registered nurse provides holistic, individualized patient care in response to identified needs of the general medical patient. Additional functions will be performed in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization.
• You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of the patient, following standards of care and disease specific protocols.
• You will plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
• You will provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN’s scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
• You will provide education and emotional support appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance and incorporate patient / family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.
