SHIFT: PRN
The PCT assists Licensed Nursing Personnel. The PCT assists patients with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients and assisting in maintaining a safe and clean environment. The PCT must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. The PCT must assist the licensed nursing personnel in meeting the education, physical, and psychosocial needs of patients based on their age-specific needs. The PCT must involve the patient, parent, and family/significant other in the plan of care. Respond in a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff or patient issues.

Qualifications
At least 2 years of current/recent experience as a C.N.A. in a hospital or nursing home setting required.
Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Texas Required
