Job Summary:

  • Your role directs and manages media relations, internal communications and community relations activities for HCA Healthcare TriStar Division including media relations, internal communications, community relations, publications, and crisis communication. 
  • Your role develops proactive PR and community relations strategy to ensure alignment with corporate and department goals. 
  • Your role partners with Marketing and PR Directors/Managers in the division and works collaboratively with the Marketing team to prepare and disseminate information and content for the division through various content channels.
  • You will serve as the Division’s primary media contact and media relations strategist.
  • You will develop proactive and responsive media relations plans and engage and build relationships with members of the media on behalf of the enterprise. This includes providing media relations counsel to the division and hospitals, and assisting in the development of communications plans.
  • Your role is responsible for overseeing the creation of support tools that aid local and division public relations efforts.

Qualifications

  • Experience: More than 7 years
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required; Master’s Degree Preferred
  • Physical Demands / Working Conditions: Works in an office environment, requires some travel
