Under the general supervision provides quality care to patients under the direction of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of LCMC.
Demonstrates knowledge and application of patient transport, patient preparation and Surgical Services equipment.
Participates in unit based Quality Improvement process.
Practices, endorses and provides customer service skills to patients, visitors, physicians and staff.
Demonstrates knowledge and respect of patient rights to privacy and protection of patient confidentiality.
Organizes and communicates patient care activities to the patient and to the Registered Nurse.
Regular, punctual and dependable attendance.
Other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent required
BLS within 90 days of hire required
Reads and writes Basic English; able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, and partners needs.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, physicians, and hospital staff.
Willing to work on rotating shifts
The position is classified as Medium Work which is defined as exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, 20 lbs frequently and 10 lbs constantly
