Job Summary and Qualifications

Senior Support Analyst are subject matter experts in their field and/or the Core HIS Systems. This person has experience implementing their responsible application. They have a strong understanding of the workflows and understand the integration of other applications. This person is able to only build their primary application but can also build and support other applications.Key responsibilities include responding/troubleshooting client incidents logged and projects assigned to support team, insuring timely response to tickets and meeting defined SLA’s.

  • Provide knowledge in your area of expertise for to assist with the resolution of helpdesk tickets logged by client.
  • Following defined IT Support Policy and Procedures.
  • Work with management and PMsto prioritize your tasks to meet deadlines
  • Assist in demos of the HIS
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Stakeholders and Clients
  • Assist in documenting functional and technical requirements, building system tables, documenting test plans, conducting system testing, and documenting user manuals and administer training (should we break this up into service request)
  • Work with the clinical customers to understand their requirements and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Work with vendors to gain knowledge of their product features
  • Monitor system performance and report anomalies, errors, inaccuracies or inefficiencies and work with team to make recommendations
  • Administrative/Professional Development (25%)
  • Performance Plan updates
  • Protect and Grow Clients by appropriately managing work
  • Personal growth related to job responsibilities
  • Participate in Staff Meetings

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Effective verbal communication and problem solving skills
  • Effective written, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to shifting priorities, demands and timelines trough analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Solid understanding of appropriate clinical workflows
  • Strong customer service orientation

Education

  • Degree in nursing or other clinical specialty. (I.e. Pharmacy, Radiology, Med Technology, etc.) and/or Other relevant work experience

Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience as RN or in clinical area of expertise (Clinical)
  • 3 + years’ experience in IT Helpdesk support role
  • Software implementation experience preferred

Certificate /License

  • License or certification in clinical specialty preferred or relevant work experience
