Job Summary:
  • As the Clinical Nurse Coordinator must be able to direct and supervises the daily operations of the department to facilitate access to mental health services to persons inquiring and professionals and agencies referring persons utilizing the hospital and community-based continuum of care. 
  • You will present in a professional, caring and understanding manner to persons inquiring of assistance and committed to help the individual (s) connect to resources needed via hospital programs or other resources in the community. 
  • You will also direct and supervise the admissions of any individual into any of the hospital treatment programs and/or to other services in the community.
  • You will directs and redirects team assignments as needed throughout shift
  • You will assist new employees, assigned employees, and cross training employees toward their orientation goals
  • You will serve as a resource to staff for solving clinical problems.
  • You will assist staff to efficiently utilize staffing resources to meet patient care requirements and other professional responsibilities.
  • You will act as a resource in identifying and/or solving administrative/operational problems.
  • You will anticipate actual/potential problems that may occur on their shift and sets shift priorities accordingly.

Qualifications

  • A.S. or B.S. Degree  from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current TN or Compacted State RN License
  • 2-3 years of direct RN experience (Oncology, ED, Med/Surg and/or CCU/ICU/PCU preferred)
  • 1 year of supervisory experience 
  • CPI required within 30 days of employment.
  • BLS required within 90 days of employment.
