Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Total Joint Program Nurse Navigator (TJNN) for our ambulatory surgery center who demonstrates the values of our company by caring like family. You will be an amazing addition to our team by contributing your expertise in Total Joints. You will coordinate and implement the center’s Total Joint Replacement Program.

What you will do in this role:

    • Guiding the total joint patient and their family through the program from PreOp assessment and education through the continuum of care
    • Interact with patients and their families, physicians, and other care partners
    • Act as a liaison between all departments of the surgery center and advocate for the patient as needed
    • Develop, facilitate, and monitor selected performance metrics and ensures compliance with all activities required to achieve and obtain/maintain Orthopedic Certification with AAAHC.
    • Works closely with orthopedic surgeons to assist with data collection and community outreach

    Qualifications you will need:

    • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
    • 5 years applicable clinical experience.
    • Minimum 2 years in an acute care orthopedic setting, preferred.
    • Supervisory experience preferred.
    • Operational and strategic development experience preferred.
    • Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure
    • Valid BCLS Certification upon employment ***online certification not acceptable
    • ACLS as required by facility
