Provider Relations Representative - HCA Mission Health Partners

 

Full-Time - Days

 

This position is NOT a remote position and is based in an office in Asheville, NC

 

The Provider Relations Rep at HCA Mission Health Partners manages physician networks by developing and maintaining relationships to drive business results across the service region. Provides introductions, service and education to network physicians/providers across all lines. Acts as a liaison between providers and network IT staff and vendors. Helps achieve network goals by supporting implementation of the network Quality Improvement Program.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree +1 year directly related experience, Associate's degree + 3 years directly related experience OR 5 years directly related experience.

Preferred License: None

 

Required Experience: Minimum one year, three years, or five years’ experience in advanced sales, as commensurate with education, as outlined above. Must demonstrate excellent problem solving skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be organized and have excellent time management capabilities. Must also demonstrate the ability to analyze data to identify trends and variance from goals.

Preferred Experience: Pharmacy, healthcare, provider or HMO/PPO background.

Mission Health Partners is a network of hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers working together to improve healthcare quality, performance, efficiency and value for the patients of western North Carolina.

 

The Mission Health Partners Care Coordination team – available to all MHP providers - includes registered nurse (RN) care coordinators, certified pharmacy technicians, licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs) and clinical pharmacists. The team collaborates with our physicians and regional community partners, expanding our scope and ensuring that even our most rural patients are able to receive local and specialized assistance when they need it.

 

Mission Health Partners (MHP) currently serves approximately 90,000 patients in western North Carolina, with an overall goal of improving health outcomes and reducing costs. MHP utilizes a unique and innovative combination of data-driven initiatives and the implementation of an innovative care coordination model that focuses on social determinants of health – that is, the social and environmental factors that may have a significant influence on a patient’s health outcomes.
