Position Description:

Under the general supervision of the Imaging Manager and/or Imaging Director, the associate is responsible for duties in the clerical area utilizing computer, fax, file and office equipment to perform the clerical and file functions of the Imaging Department. The associate is also responsible for the professional and efficiently answering of all phone calls and the connection to the areas requested. To assist all business/patient/staff in a professional manner with daily operations of the communications system. To handle all CODES in a calm and efficient manner.

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum one-year clerical experience in imaging/medical office/hospital preferred.
  • Prior PBX experience preferred.
  • Must possess good voice quality and diction.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Must have a high sense of urgency and be able to crisis manage.
  • Bi-Lingual preferred
  • Medical terminology preferred
  • Advancement into other positions within the hospital of similar skill level, or with advanced on the job training
