Under the guidance of the VP, Corporate of Infection Prevention, the Clinical Manager, Infection Prevention serves a leader in aligning HCA’s key strategies in reducing infections as well as a primary support for HCA and all of its entities. Responsible for establishing mission, vision, goals and direction for effective infection prevention and control programs for hospitals and outpatient services for the division. Functions as main source of IP contact for division, facilities and key stakeholders. Serves as a subject matter expert for the entity.
Leads development of strategies and tools to advance clinical performance within infection prevention and control across the enterprise. Serves as main liaison for nursing colleagues at corporate entities. Assures appropriate alignment of improvement, growth, compliance, and technology advances within infection prevention and control. HCA Healthcare (Corporate), based in Nashville, Tennessee, supports a variety of corporate roles from business operations to administrative positions. Creates a safe environment for all division entities, free from infections by integrating clinical skills with expert knowledge.
