Job Summary and Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

Seeking a Athletic Trainer  for our practice who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:

 Responsible for following patient care from check in to check out. · Liaison between patient, physician or physician office staff.

  • Responsible for taking patient history, initial evaluation and documentation.
  • Design and educate patients on home exercise protocols per the physician’s request.
  • Responsible for patient setup and education of in office procedures.
  • Prepares for and assists physician with in office procedures
  • Responsible for brace and crutch fitting and product education.
  • Triage patient messages, phone calls and questions appropriately, whether it is resolving issue within the scope of practice or utilizing physician, nurse triage and other ancillary staff as needed
  • Responsible for maintaining clinic flow between all areas of the clinic.

What Qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors or master’s degree from an accredited athletic training program EXPERIENCE:
  • One or more years of experience preferred.

  • CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:

  • Must be licensed as an athletic trainer in accordance with state regulations if required.
  • Must be BOC certified and possess state athletic training licensure, certification or registration.
