Overview
Angel Medical Center is seeking a qualified Multi Modality Technologist registered in Diangostic Imaging and CT to join the team here in Franklin, North Carolina.
Angel Medical Center is a regional facility located in Franklin NC. We are conveniently located within driving distance of Asheville, Greenville, and Atlanta. The hospital was started by the Angel brothers over 100 years ago. Angel is a Critical Access Hospital that will be moving to a new facility in the fall of 2022. The new facility will feature all new equipment and a new location. The current facility offers CT, MRI, Radiology, surgical procedures utilizing carms, pain clinic, NM, echo, ultrasound, 3D mammography, bone density and much more. We work closely with the community college to train and grow technologists in various modalities. It is a busy community that experiences an increase of visitors and patients starting in the spring and ending in the late fall. The volume at the facility has seasonal period with more volume throughout the year.
The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist is required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients, utilize sterile techniques, if necessary, operate complex imaging equipment and assist physicians as necessary throughout the Mission Health System. Continuing education, learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function without constant supervision to produce superior quality imaging studies.
Requirements:
Shift: Full-Time, Days, Evenings, Rotating Weekends
The Multi-Modality Technologist must routinely work within a minimum of two qualifying modalities (Diagnostic and CT) as directed by department managers/supervisors to meet the specific needs of the departments and be registered in all disciplines in which they perform exams.
