You contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Surgery Attendant like you to be a part of our team.
As a Surgery Attendant, you will assist in the cleaning and preparation of the operating room suite. You will clean operating room equipment, maintain a sterile environment, perform duties in sterile processing, assist in patient transfers to and from the operating room, and assist with positioning the patient on the operating room table.
You will prepare the patient and operating room for each procedure and/or surgery
You will verify patient charts for required pre-operative checklist
You will check conditions and cleanliness of equipment prior to procedures
You will anticipate the needs of the operating room circulator
You will appropriately handle and transport all specimens
You will assume responsibility for supplies and equipment management

Basic Life Support (BLS) per St. David’s Healthcare policy
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification – preferred
