As a Clinical Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing and analyzing supply chain and clinical data as it applies to clinical products, clinical technology and clinical excellence initiatives utilizing business intelligence applications and data analytics. This position will have a clear understanding of the business data information needs; and will translate this information into a format that will improve clinical decision making within HealthTrust Supply Chain. 


Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop methodologies to perform financial analysis and interpretation of supply chain purchase history data to identify cost reduction opportunities. 
  • Benchmark cost and clinical data through applicable business tool applications.
  • Perform ongoing analytics, tracking and analysis for supply chain initiatives. 
  • Develops an in-depth knowledge and understanding of appropriate applications such as Business Objects, QlickView, Tableau, and Power BI to identify clinical and cost variation. 
  • Identify, manage and monitor completion of deliverables, with a high degree of accuracy, throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Perform comparative analysis on cost per case procedures to include benchmarking, surgeon and product variation, waste, noncontract spend and contribution margin.  
  • Perform centralized division analysis and tracking of data to include contract compliance, maximizing tier commitments and documenting savings.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent experience. Required.

  • 3-5 years’ experience managing multiple projects to successful completion that required financial modeling and analysis, Required.

  • Project Management experience preferred
