Position Summary:

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for continuously measuring, assessing and improving the delivery of services through individual and department participation in the Hospital-wide Performance Improvement Program. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Maintains records and Performance Improvement documentation to support credentialing.
Assists with the coordination of Hospital-wide PI Teams.
Facilitates Root Cause Analysis and Failure Mode Effect Analysis as needed/requested, to promote efficient and effective use of quality tools to improve patient safety and outcomes.
When opportunities for improvement require an interdisciplinary/interdepartmental approach, submits the appropriate documentation to the Quality Committee.

Qualifications

2 year Associate’s Degree required
RN (Registered Nurse) license
1-3 years of related quality improvement experience required
Knowledge of Quality and Risk Management activities
Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, analytical, and grammar/spelling skills needed
Strong computer skills to include Meditech, Microsoft Word, and Excel
