Kendall Regional Medical Center is a 417-bed, full-service, acute hospital providing 24-hour comprehensive care in the community including trauma, burn, surgical, women’s and children’s services, behavioral health and diagnostic services, along with two full service free-standing ER facilities, one in Doral and the other at The Palms Town & Country.

Located in west Miami-Dade County, Kendall Regional Medical Center has received the Distinguished Hospital Award for Overall Clinical Excellence from HealthGrades. Job Description:

The Engineering Supervisory Coordinator is under the direct supervision of the Plant Operations Director and assists in the overall operation of the department to provide an optimum and cost-effective operation of all equipment, buildings, and grounds and other hospital properties.

The Engineering Supervisory Coordinator assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing and managing the department and staff to ensure quality service in the absence of the Director.  He/she is responsible for complying with hospital standards and corporate policy and procedures, for managing supplies and equipment, for promoting teamwork with staff, peers, physicians, and hospital administration.  This individual will be responsible for continuous development of a preventative maintenance program, departmental filing system and computer data collection.  He/she will supervise repairs made by department personnel as well as outside contractors.

Qualifications

  • High School or GED
  • Vocational/Technical
  • License/ Certifications: Plumbing, Elec, Bldg, & Mech. Maint
  • More than 5 years experience
