We are looking for a dedicated Pediatric Patient and Family Services Representative like you to be a part of our Chidlren's Hospital team. This is a full-time, day shift postion. 

What you will do in this role: 

  • You will act as an information and guidance resource to enhance the total patient and guest experience.
  • You will provide patient activity coordination, patient flow direction and problem solving.
  • You will welcome and screen visitors and establish positive first impressions.
  • You will screen at the entrance of the hospital, including asking questions and using a thermometer.
  • You will communicate and follow the visitation policy.
  • You will answer telephones in a professional and courteous manner directing inquiries to appropriate location.
  • You will provide navigational assistance to visitors and patient families, escorting them to destination when appropriate.
  • You will take ownership of and respond to complaints, concerns and other matters in a timely manner, following up until issue is resolved or it is elevated a manager.

Qualifications

  • One year experience within a service based industry reqired.
  • Candidate must demonstrate a commitment to serving others. 
  • High school graduate or GED required. 
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal communication skils  preferred.  Must be out going, have good communication skills, ability to navigate facility, flexible, attentive to guests and their needs, compassionate and passionate in delivering the best customer service possible.
  • Computer data-entry/typing experience required
