Pediatric Orthopedics - Full-Time - Days

 

This position is based within a fast-paced, team-oriented, outpatient Pediatric Orthopedic environment in which the Medical Assistant will learn how to cast, and will be instrumental in assisting providers with direct patient care of pediatric patients and interacting with their accompanying families.

The most successful candidates will be able to anticipate needs, work well with the team, be flexible, and apply their medical assiting experience in a team-based care workplace.

Medical Assistant at HCA Mission Health - NC Division:

Summary: Provides medical assistance under the direction of licensed personnel. Coordinates clinic patient flow, patient work-ups, exam room prep, and performs basic patient care activities. Ensures quality and continuity of care by communicating patient care information to the appropriate parties.

 

Required Education: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Ecucation: Associates Degree or Bachelors degree

 

Required License: None

Preferred License: None

 

Required Experience: Direct patient care experience, collecting vital sign information

Preferred Experience: Physician practice medical assisting experience
