Job Summary: Delivers patient care under the supervision of a physician in an outpatient setting. Facilitates the delivery of care for the comfort and well being of patients. Utilizes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills, to provide and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions, within professional scope. Supports and provides oversight as needed by the Director.
Required Education: Completion of Bachelors program in Nursing, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Education: BS in Nursing or Engineering
Required License: For Nursing, NC State Nursing License as RN. Obtain International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification in Cardiac Electrophysiology within two years of employment (CCDS, Certified Clinical Device Specialist per the Heart Rhythm Society)
Required Experience: Three years of experience in the field of cardiac pacing or electrophysiology with direct exposure to patient care
Preferred Experience: Three or more years of experience in a medical office device clinic.
