We are seeking a Surgical Technologist for the GI Lab at our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Job Summary:

• You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• You will demonstrate knowledge of Endoscopy procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Anoscopy, Bronchoscopy,  Endobronchial Ultrasound, Endobronchial Navigation, Small bowel Enteroscopy/Balloon assisted IO, Capsule Endoscopy, Ph Monitoring, Esophageal Manometry, ERCP, and all diagnostic/therapeutic maneuvers associated with the above procedures. 
• You will demonstrate ability to perform technical skills and procedures.
• You will be able to work closely with GI physicians and anesthesiologist and anticipate needs appropriately.  
• You will maintain good knowledge of each procedure room and room specific equipment and location/use of all supplies and know where/how to locate supplies not housed in Endoscopy Lab.   
• You will demonstrate good knowledge of opening and closing of room procedure on a daily basis.  
• You will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program
• Must be a Certified Operating Room Technician (grandfather clause may apply); Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor Certification preferred. 
• BLS Certification current
• 1 Year of OR experience required, GI/Bronchoscopy experience preferred
