This position is located at the Mission Reuter Children's Outpatient Center

Reuter Outpatient Center offers a full range of pediatric specialty services, all situated in a convenient outpatient setting.

Mission Children’s Specialists — pediatric subspecialty practices treating patients in a number of areas
Western North Carolina’s only dedicated pediatric radiology service offers on-site, fellowship-trained pediatric radiologists and pediatric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with “movie goggles” that dramatically reduce anxiety and the need for medication
Olson Huff Center for Child Development - including audiology, autism services, and occupational, physical and speech therapy
Certified child life specialists helping craft safe and nurturing care environments for our patients

Clinical Supervisor of Outpatient Hospital Clinics:

Role Summary: The Clinical Supervisor:

Acts as the clinic's charge nurse and the staff supervisor who oversees the performance, daily operations, programs, and activities of assigned staff under the direction of the senior department leadership.
Functions as a resource person to the staff and health professionals within the department. They ensure that established protocols are followed and that staff members provide quality care to patients and their caregivers.
The Clinical Supervisor will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family members.

Education:

Required Education: Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program.

Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master's Degree in Nursing, Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA), or other related equivalent education/experience preferred.

License:

Required License: License to practice as a Registered Nurse within the state of North Carolina. BLS or completion of the appropriate healthcare provider life-saving skills program for the area of related practice.

Preferred License: None

Experience:

Required Experience: A minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a registered nurse in a related field of practice. Recent experience leading clinical teams or projects, formally or informally, is required.

Preferred Experience: 3 or more years as a registered nurse with supervisory experience is preferred. Prior experience in leadership in the ambulatory space is preferred, as well as pediatric experience.
