As Vice President of Human Resources you will provide strategic human resources and talent guidance and recommendations to the executive team at an HCA facility. You will create the desired workplace culture which includes an engaged and productive workforce through HCA's policies, programs, and practices. 

What you will do in this role:

  • Lead the facility HR team to deliver strategic and operational HR support within the facility
  • Partner with the executive leadership team to analyze and prioritize the critical business challenges faced by the organization
  • Deploy appropriate HR interventions in collaboration with appropriate Centers of Excellence 
  • Work collaboratively with other Region HR leaders, HR Centers of Excellence and HR Service Centers to provide feedback and improve the enterprise-wide programs and services for the employee and leader population 
  • Deploy talent and development programs
  • You will lead local Employee & Community engagement efforts 
  • Partner to support business performance, quality and patient care initiatives 

What you should have for this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • Masters Degree preferred 
  • PHR or SPHR preferred 
  • You must have a minimum of 7 years of Human Resource Leadership Experience 

MountainView Hospital serves Greater Northwest Las Vegas and Southern Nevada with comprehensive medical care. We are conveniently located off the U.S. 95 and Cheyenne exit. Our facility is a 408-bed acute-care teaching hospital providing intensive care, neurological services, surgical, heart care, emergency, orthopedic, oncology, women's services and outpatient services. We are recognized for high patient satisfaction and for providing compassionate care to our community since 1996.

MountainView features nationally recognized programs including a top cardiovascular and thoracic center, the renowned Las Vegas Institute for Robotic Surgery, an Accredited Chest Pain Center and Certified Stroke Center. Our Other areas of excellence include emergency care, urology and gynecological services, orthopedics, vascular care and an inpatient physical rehabilitation unit. Our Red Rock Radiology provides accredited imaging services in a soothing outpatient setting.

MountainView is a teaching hospital, training the next generation of physicians. Our residents practice through our Graduate Medical Education program, in the areas of internal medicine and general surgery. Teaching hospitals deliver a higher level of care to patients, in a collaborative and academic focused environment.
