Job Summary:

  • You will perform a variety of technical procedures that require rational independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative in performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Radiographic Imaging with basic departmental functions and goals.
  • You will assist the MRI Supervisor day-to-day operation of the department keeping in mind and balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs, quality improvement and exceptional care for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.
  • You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in his/her department.
  • You will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs
  • You will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must be a graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology. 
  • RT(R)(MRI)(ARRT) is required.  (MRI) registry eligible is acceptable.  If registry eligible, must obtain (MRI) registry within 12 months of start date.   
  • Completion of a Magnetic Resonance Imaging program or two years cross sectional anatomy coursework is preferred. 
  • American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS required.
