This is a PRN non-benefitted position
Work as a member of a strong team to ensure immunization compliance. This team member acts as an auditor and notifies individuals of their needs. Additionally, this employee may provide employee health and occupational medicine services to the patient and local industries. Documents care delivery, patient condition, reaction and progress. Provides patient education.
Required Education: Graduate/Certification from one of the following:AAMA - American Association of Medical Assistants Certified Medical Assistant (CMA credential)AMT- American Medical Technologists- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA credential)ARMA- American Registry of Medical Assistants-(ARMA credential)NCCT- National Center for Competency Testing- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA credential)AMCA- American Medical Certification Association- Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC credential)NHA- National Healthcareer Association- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA credential)
Required License: Must have and maintain a current certification. BLS Certification required within 90 days of employment.
Preferred Experience: Minimum two (2) years experience working in an ambulatory clinic. Possess an ability to function in a high stress, physically demanding setting.
