The PGY-2 Pharmacy Resident is responsible for providing complete pharmacy services in coordination and cooperation with departmental professional and support staff, consistent with departmental policies and procedures for operations and clinical practice, meeting all the requirements and obligations of pharmacists on staff. This includes monitoring patient medication regimens and providing appropriate interventions. The PGY-2 Pharmacy Resident actively participates in rotation activities, including team meetings, rounds, and other interdisciplinary conferences/meetings that occur. The PGY-2 Pharmacy Resident is responsible for the development, operations and management of the PGY-2 residency.

B.S. or Pharm.D. from Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited degree program Or one in process of pursuing accreditation Or have a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) certificate from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) Must have successfully completed an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 pharmacy residency program.
Current Nevada license to practice pharmacy required. If not already licensed, must obtain a Nevada State Board of Pharmacy Intern license Must obtain a Nevada pharmacist licensure no later than thirty days after start date.
BLS and ACLS certification no later than 90 days after start date.
