*Position will split time between main hospital and Parker FSED, as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:  Responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all CT and X-Ray procedures.  X-ray procedures include diagnostic and portable exams.  Communicates and works independently in performing all CT and X-Ray procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood.  Prioritize, provides and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision and Values of Sky Ridge Medical Center Maintains and supports facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with Joint Commission regulations and standards.  Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees as outlined in Sky Ridge Medical Center’s Standards of Behavior.   Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  Solid to expert knowledge of all diagnostic procedures to include x-rays and Cat Scan

 

Required Credentials:  Current ARRT (CT)(R) License, Current BLS.

 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION:  ARRT/RT/CT current and CE compliance.  Current BLS certification.

 

EDUCATION:  Graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - Certified by ARRT.

 

EXPERIENCE:  3 years CT/X-Ray experience required.  X-Ray and CT experience required.

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:  Solid to expert knowledge of all CT and X-Ray exams.  Able to problem solve and work alone.

ORIENTATION PERIOD:  90 days.
