We are searching for a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a Full-time, Day position. The Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for routine and high risk respiratory procedures across the facility.

Essential Core Functions:

  • Performs routine and high risk procedures as prescribed by the MD and follows appropriate policy in the application of respiratory procedures. 
  • Communicates with physician the effectiveness of respiratory care procedures. 
  • Thoroughly explains and answers patient and family questions regarding respiratory care.
  • Reviews patients' charts to verify order and check for contradictions of therapy. 
  • Assesses patient and provides proper documentation in patient's chart as related to therapy. 
  • Assembles, installs, disassembles, assesses and maintains equipment according to manufacturer and department policy. 
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Georgia required.
  • Acceptable degree from an accredited school - Associate in Respiratory Therapy of Bachelor Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider required.
  • Pediatric Advance Life Support required. (PALS)
  • 1-3 years of experience, preferred.
