Position Summary & Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse Sepsis Coordinator Responsible for knowing the patients at the unit/microsystem level, interprofessional communication to meet patients’ needs, and lateral integration of care. Accountable for patient safety and quality outcomes for a narrowly focused patient population in a particular unit/clinical setting. Assimilates and applies research-based information to design, implement, and evaluate patient care with a point of care focus.

Minimum Position Requirements:
1. Licenses and Certifications:
a. Current RN license to practice in the State of Texas or RN Compact State License
b. BLS (AHA)
c. ACLS (AHA)
a. BSN in nursing required.
b. Master’s a plus
a. Minimum of two years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
