Our 27 bed Ortho Trauma unit is a fast paced exciting unit. Our patient population includes: ortho, post joint replacement, post spine surgeries and trauma patients. Our hospital is the only level II trauma facility in the area. Come take your nursing career to the next level and come work with the best!
The Ortho Trauma Registered Nurse:
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, assessment, care planning, implementation, and reassessment for identified patient population per the Colorado Nurse Practice Act
Documents patient care administered
Promotes interdisciplinary communication and care
Delivers care based on the age, physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient
Demonstrates basic and unit specific competencies
