providing services to include: Emergency Care, Trauma Care, Pediatric ER, Heart & Vascular Institute, Comprehensive Stroke Center, The Baby Suites
maternity care, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Level II, Women’s Services,
Behavioral Health, Orthopedics & Spine and a Graduate Medical Education
Program. We also expand our care to the community with our freestanding
Emergency Department at Hunter’s Creek ER.

Pediatric/PICU RN:
 
Osceola Regional’s pediatric inpatient unit features a fun, decorated playroom where children can feel safe and comfortable while taking a much needed break from their treatment schedule. Our aquatic themed pediatric unit offers comfort and familiarity to children, easing their fears.Our staff is trained to do everything possible to make you and your child feel welcome, safe and secure. Our skilled physicians, nurses, therapists and other healthcare professionals are dedicated to providing innovative treatment in a facility that is both technologically advanced and child friendly.

The Registered Nurse reports directly to the unit Clinical Manager, and is responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care through the utilization of the nursing process in accordance with  physicians' orders, established policies and procedures, established professional standards, and administrative hospital-wide policies.

Qualifications

  • FL RN License and/or approved multistate license, if compact license held, active FL RN license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire
  • Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider required.
  • Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and/or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) required within 6 months of hire.
  • PICU experience strongly preferred
  • 1+ years experience in hospital setting strongly preferred 
  • Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN required;  BSN preferred.
