SCHEDULE: 0.8 (32 hours per week), SHIFT: Nights with rotating weekends.
Performs nursing history and physical assessment on an ongoing basis. In conjunction with the patient and family, develops individualized patient care plan based on nursing diagnosis. Provides direct nursing care based on the plan of care and established priorities. Evaluates and documents the patient/family response to nursing care based on the plan of care and established priorities. Maintains a safe working environment, adheres to all hospital policies and procedures and reports problems or concerns to charge nurse or Manager.
Minimum: RN License, ACLS, BLS
Minimum: 2-5 years medical surgical or 1 year Critical Care/Telemetry
Preferred: 2-5 years Cardiac Telemetry/Critical Care, JCAHO survey
Minimum: EKG interpretation class
Preferred: Critical Care Series
Minimum: Cardiac Telemetry, Care of Patients with Heart Failure and post Cardiac Catheterization.
Preferred: Critical care, knowledge of JCAHO standards and safety goals
