Eastside Medical Center is currently looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Full Time – Days.

 

Responsibilities:

·     Performs daily treatment as outlined by Primary Physical Therapist.

·    Completes daily treatment within stated department specific policies and procedures.

·  Responsible for all aspects of patient care including plan of care, education of patient/family, communication with physicians, and documentation of patient care.

·    Demonstrates ability to integrate age specific factors into the plan of care and involves the patient and family in care plan process as appropriate to age.

·    Effectively communicates with other team members and patient.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree from accredited Physical Therapist program
  • Current licensure as LPTA
  • New grads accepted/experience preferred
  • BLS – American Heart Association – required
  • Crisis Prevention (if requested)
