Position Summary: The Perioperative Clinical Coordinator at Frankfort Regional Medical Center:
Practices autonomous, evidence-based nursing care in a collaborative environment.
Provides culturally sensitive care for all patients specific to the population served.
Practices the art and science of nursing in accordance with professional standards of care and codes of ethics,Adheres to the principles of the FRMC Mission, Vision, and Philosophy of Nursing.
Plans, implements, and evaluates educational programming which includes:Professional continuing education,Unit based orientation,Clinical certifications,Job specific competency skill evaluation.
Serves as a resource to the hospital, the Education Department and the unit staff, and participates in special projects and hospital committees.

Education: BSN, MSN Preferred
Licensure/Certifications: Unrestricted Kentucky License; Current Basic Life Support (BLS). CNOR certification preferred or within 1 year of hire.
Experience: 3 years satisfactory clinical experience preferred
