As a Sr. Application Engineer, you will collaborate with the appropriate lines of business to create, support or enhance applications. You will be a crucial member in the systems development lifecycle from discovery to implementation. You will work with project team members and operational leaders to define and clarify requirements, design the functional solutions, identify and resolve project issues, and ensure the solution meets the intended goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE?

  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use.
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
  • Proficient in handling the complex of technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies.
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating new technologies for implementation.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, full life-cycle software development processes and ability to understand and implement client requirements.
  • Exhibits understanding in how to break down business requirements into implementations using best practices, latest libraries and API’s, and preferred design patterns.
  • Serve as technical expert on development projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or healthcare-related field is preferred.
  • Five+ years of relevant experience as a business analyst or product analyst on increasingly challenging projects for application development in revenue cycle preferred.
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), full stack development and automation tools required
  • Experience working with micro-services architecture, UIPath based applications, Teradata or any enterprise data warehouse, a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design, and familiarity working with Relational Database Systems.
