As a Product Analyst, you will collaborate with the appropriate lines of business to create, support or enhance applications. You will be a crucial member in the systems development lifecycle from discovery to implementation. You will work with project team members and operational leaders to define and clarify requirements, design the functional solutions, identify and resolve project issues, and ensure the solution meets the intended goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE?

  • Leads efforts for new development and new functionality for enterprise applications supported by HCA and RCPS IT&S
  • Serves as liaison between business owners and Development Solutions
  • Defines project requirements by identifying milestones and phases
  • Creates and maintains application support documentation, including disaster recovery, user provisioning, application functionality and architecture
  • Manage and participate in functional, unit and user acceptance testing of business applications including the creation and maintenance of test cases
  • Collaborate with operational teams and leaders.
  • 25% travel to service centers and/or other facilities for onsite work with project members
  • Participates in activities which improve departmental and organizational performance
  • Maintains and protects confidentiality with regard to all aspects of patient care

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or healthcare-related field is preferred
  • Three+ years of relevant experience as a business analyst on increasingly challenging projects for application development in revenue cycle preferred
  • Successful experiences in understanding end-user business perspectives and translating to create user models, use cases, user interface designs, and business process improvements
  • Strong healthcare revenue cycle operational knowledge
  • Strong collaboration, facilitation, data analysis and negotiation skills
