RN Labor and Delivery: Part-Time Nights
The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery setting. Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including: fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Performs general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision. Participates in process improvement activities.
Current BCLS preferred. Must obtain BCLS within 30 days of hire and maintain certification.
Current NRP preferred. Must obtain NRP within 6 months of hire and maintain certification.
Current ACLS (LDRP RNs Only) preferred. Must obtain ACLS within 1 year of hire and maintain certification.
Current STABLE preferred. Must obtain STABLE within 1 year of hire and maintain certification.
Two or more years of recent Labor and Delivery preferred. One-year Newborn Nursery Postpartum experience preferred.
