Portsmouth Regional is a 209-bed acute care hospital located in Portsmouth, NH, and is part of HCA, the nation’s largest provider of healthcare services. Portsmouth Regional Hospital serves the seacoast region’s residents in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts and is one of the area’s largest employers. Portsmouth Regional Hospital is the only Level II Trauma Center on the Seacoast and one of only three in New Hampshire to earn this important distinction. Recently, we were named One of America’s Best Hospitals for Joint Replacements through a National Study by Healthgrades. Most recently, we received the Leapfrog ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade.
POSITION SUMMARY: Maintains QMIRS statistics hospital wide. Maintains the PLUS Productivity System. Learn and maintain the Best FasAsset System. Analyzes information as requested utilizing Clear:Access. Assists in Budget preparation, assists in all accounting/Finance activities as needed to support the department.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: PLUS: Meet with managers and Controller on a quarterly basis to review the departmental and labor expense. Maintain and review hospital wide statistics for accuracy. Make corrections as needed. Learn and maintain the Best FasAsset system, ensuring that the system is balanced to the General Ledger at all times. Assists in the budget process as needed, focusing on salaries and fte’s. Uses Clear:Access to perform analysis as requested or needed. Works on special projects as needed.
Experience with accounting and finance in a corporate setting.
Bachelor's Degree in Related Field Preferred.
