Our hospital offers the only cardiac surgery program, neurosurgery program and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) in Horry and Georgetown counties and is a designated Level I Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center by South Carolina DHEC.

The Neuroscience ICU is an 8-bed neurological specialty intensive care unit. We care for patients after neurosurgical interventions, may neurological diseases and also spinal cord injuries. We are a Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center, recognized by the Joint Commission to treat the most complex stroke cases. Because of the complexity of our patients, our nurses must have excellent neurological assessment skills, which they develop through a tailored orientation and ongoing specialty training.
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator for our Neuroscience ICU. The Clinical Coordinator has the direct-line responsibility for day to day operations and overall responsibility for the nursing department, insuring that employees have effective management, good communication and appropriate discipline.
The Clinical Coordinator insures that the charge nurses fulfill their responsibilities as front-line supervisors.
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible on a 24-hour basis for the coordination of patient care, administrative and nursing activities.
The Clinical Coordinator is also responsible on a 24 hours basis for the quality of nursing care provided to patient.
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and evaluation of all nursing care and related activities.
Current licensure in the State of South Carolina as a Registered Nurse or a Compact State RN License in good standing
BLS – Healthcare provider
Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing.
Minimum of five years recent nursing practice, with at least three years of experience in a nursing leadership position preferred. Physically and mentally
