Schedule: 1.0 (40 hours per week)
Shift: Days (weekdays only)
POSITION SUMMARY: The Facilities Management Supervisor is directly responsible in assisting the Facilities Management Manager and Director in overseeing plant operations functions including physical plant, structures, utilities, contract management for minor construction, remodeling, and landscaping. Assist Facilities Management Manager and Director by accepting the responsibilities for continuous efficient and safe operations of physical plant as assigned. Supervises, schedules and evaluates physical plant engineers in the maintenance shop, carpenter shop, and paint shop. Responsible for preventive maintenance, maintenance, repairs and operation of the physical plant. Maintains working knowledge of new construction, all codes and standards from regulatory agencies. Enforces Safety Standards to minimize hazard and interim Life Safety standards. Or as assigned.
Preferred: Certified Contractor or Journeyman license or equivalent preferred in electrical and mechanical skills
Minimum: 5 years progressive healthcare experience
Associates Degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum: Knowledge of Building Trades, Knowledge of Applicable Codes including but not limited to: NFPA, JC, CA Title 22, CDC, OSHA, OSHPD; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Proven Leadership Skills, Organized approach to solving problems, Computer Literate. Experience with a computer based work order system.
