With 466 beds, we specialize in heart care at the Levinson Heart Hospital and emotional and mental health services through the Tucker Pavilion. Our ER is also a state-authorized Level II trauma center and we offer Central Virginia’s only Pediatric ER staffed 24/7 by pediatric-trained ER nurse and physician specialists.
The Joint Commission awarded Chippenham Hospital the Gold Seal of Approval and named us a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures for advanced primary stroke, heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, perinatal care, hip and knee replacement and surgical care. We are also a Level II Trauma Center, which means we provide fast, skilled care in life’s most difficult moments.
The Central Resource Pool (Float Pool)
If you are looking for a fantastic job where you can decide how when and where you want to work, the CRP might be a phenomenal fit for you. As a CRP nurse, you will float throughout the facility to all the units within your scope of practice, to include some or all of the following:
- The ICU
- Telemetry Units
- Medical/Surgical Units
- Open Heart ICU
- Open Heart Stepdown
- Trauma ICU
- Trauma Stepdown
- Intermediate Care Unit
- Emergency Department

- At least 3 years of acute care nursing experience with demonstrated and proven competency in several specialty areas (required)
Full-time (PRN may also be available)
12-Hour Shifts, Nights from 7pm to 7am
