The main attraction of this suite is the hospital's new biplane angiography equipment, which can take advanced three dimensional neurovascular images to diagnose neurological conditions such as cerebral aneurysms and vascular malformations. This cutting edge technology also reduces procedure time and radiation dose. The addition of this technology to Brandon Regional Hospital benefits the surrounding community by providing the most advanced neurovascular imaging available for patients suffering from neurological disorders such as strokes and aneurysms. The endovascular treatment of stroke extends the window of time for treatment ischemic from 3 hours up to 8 after the onset of symptoms.
